Return & Refund Policy

You have 7 days from the date of delivery to request a return. After this period, all sales are considered final.

Eligibility

To qualify for a return:

  • The item must be unused, undamaged, and in its original condition and packaging.
  • A receipt or proof of purchase is required.
  • Returns that are incomplete, damaged, or missing parts may be partially refunded or denied entirely.

Proof of Delivery

The 7-day return period begins upon documented delivery. Accepted proof of delivery includes:

  • Tracking confirmation from any shipping carrier.
  • Local delivery confirmation based on our delivery schedule.
  • Internal driver status reports from our delivery system.

Box Deposit

  • Any reusable hinged lid totes that the customer keeps are subject to a $15 box deposit, collectible at the time of delivery, and charged by credit card. 
  • This deposit may be used cyclically, that is, the customer may swap boxes with fresh ones on subsequent deliveries with no fees.
  • The box deposit terms are subject to the customer keeping good care of the boxes, ensuring no damage or exposure to the elements.

Fees

  • A 20% restocking fee applies to all refunds.
  • Box Restocking Fee: If a refund requires us to pick up your reusable delivery boxes, the 20% restocking fee will also apply to the $15 per-box deposit.
  • If you choose store credit, the restocking fee is reduced to 10%.
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
  • For local deliveries requiring pickup, a $50 pickup fee applies.

How to Start a Return

  1. Request Approval: Email richard@woodbourneboys.com within 7 days of delivery (or 14 days of ordering where no delivery has occurred). Include your order number, reason for return, and photos (if applicable).
  2. Wait for Authorization: Do not send items back without approval — unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
  3. Ship or Deliver: Approved returns must be shipped or delivered to:

Damaged or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon delivery. If it arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us at richard@woodbourneboys.com within 48 hours so we can resolve the issue immediately.

Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns for:

  • Custom or personalized items
  • Drop-shipped items
  • Seasoned or non–kiln-dried wood

Refunds

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of your refund status.
  • If approved, refunds (minus applicable fees) will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.
  • Please allow additional time for your bank to process and post the refund.
  • If it has been more than 15 business days since approval and you have not received your refund, please contact richard@woodbourneboys.com.
